Please Take Our Friends Survey!

What is most important to you in being a Friend? We want to know! We are so grateful that we are in this organization together, with you. As we look out at a future of being in person again, we want to make sure that your voice is part of our planning. Will you please take our 5-minute survey? It is super quick and will help us plan for the coming months and years ahead.

As you know, we are 100 years old this year! We hope to be supporting Mia for another 100 years and more, and we can do that with your help. We will share with you what we learn and use your voice to shape this wonderful organization of Friends who support our even more wonderful museum.

If you have already taken the survey in April, we thank you! If not, please click this link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/9G85SCN

And thank you!

Paint Your Heart Yellow This Year

Buy-A- Bus is the Perfect Valentine’s Gift!

Many of us puzzle over the perfect Valentine’s gift for a loved one. Chocolates? Dinner out? Flowers? These are all wonderful, but we know what the best gift is: a yellow school bus!

In the past year, more than 65 bus grants were gifted to underserved schools in the Twin Cities through the Friend’s support of the Transportation Fund. These grants are essential to local schools, ensuring their students have the opportunity to tour Mia’s outstanding collection and be inspired by the wonder of art.

Each grant is funded by the Friends Transportation Fund, which is made possible by you, our Friends members! As a token of every $175 gift to the fund, a toy-sized yellow school bus is yours to take and deliver to your very special Valentine.

Solve your gift-giving problems by stopping in or by calling the Friends office at 612.870.3045 to buy a bus for that perfect Valentine’s gift!
